If you’re looking to improve your grasp on social media and how you can take advantage of it to market your brand, the following resources are a great place to start:

This website is the collective effort of several of the brightest minds in social media marketing. These guys crank out fresh content that is always structured in an easy-to-understand step-by-step process. They post new articles and “how to” blogs every day, and they focus on the entire gamut of social networks, from Facebook to Instagram to Snapchat and beyond. They also feature a great weekly podcast hosted by Michael Stelzner, which you can subscribe to for free on iTunes.

Social Media Examiner also keeps you updated on industry events where you can shmooze with and learn from industry experts. You can also take advantage of their free reports, which are great ways to dive deeper into the nuances of each network.

If you want Facebook expertise, look no further than Jon Loomer. The man is a Facebook genius, and he offers informative blogs that are easy to digest for the Facebook marketer. He writes about all elements of marketing on Facebook, but his real strength is in breaking down Facebook’s metrics. He will show you how to measure key Facebook analytics to prove your return on investment. Jon stays on top of the latest Facebook updates, and then he tells you how to best take advantage of them for your business.
